Linen & Hemp

Linen and hemp are natural eco-sustainable and biodegradable fibers and for this reason they have excellent properties, not only concerning respect for the environment, but also for personal health.
They are among the oldest fibers used in the production of fabrics; they are used in fashion, home and office furnishing and for their good resistance, even in bio-composites.
Blended yarns with linen or hemp are very suitable for clothing because they are hypoallergenic and antistatic, absorb moisture, have a low risk of pilling and allow the skin to breathe, a very appreciated feature especially in summer.

With these two natural fibers, DBT Fibre has the possibility to offer its customers, with percentages ranging from 60% to 80%, blends with Wool, Nylon, Tencel™, Viscose or ECO-VERO™ Viscose.
The combination with these two fibers allows to obtain a different softer "hand" and to improve workability in the subsequent phases, allowing the use of linen and hemp in traditional spinning.
